Gunther lives on!!

I, by way of my trusty elastic band, just saved the life of our second pet ant, Gunther!! Kelsey spotted Sven's replacement crawling across the windowsill, and we excitedly observed our little 6-legged friend. Then, to our horror, we noticed Gunther was struggling to escape from a spider web. The feelings of helplessness and horror mounted as we noticed the little blood-sucking, web-spinning bugger making his way towards our ant. Then, an idea dawned on me. I grabbed an elastic, aimed carefully, and blasted that spider's web. Kelsey was worried that I had inadvertantly killed Gunther, but oh no, little Gunther emerged from the tangled band mostly unscathed. "Run, Gunther! Run like the wind!" I cheered. We had saved Gunther from the same fiery fate as Sven - death.
